“Purchasing my first home in the UK would not have been possible without you”
What made you decide to join the programme?
I needed uplifting, guidance, reassurance and a more positive way of thinking as I worked towards purchasing my first dream home. I wasn't focusing clearly, would get into a negative spiral, feel overwhelmed and at times wanted to give up on the prospect of ever buying that home.
How did your frustration feel, and did it change over time?
I was often consumed by endless frustration, which led to procrastination, negative thinking and a sense of helplessness. But week by week that frustration eased. I felt more energised, hopeful and less stressed. I was applying what I learnt each week, which calmed my mind and helped me feel more in control, leading to more constructive and positive action. I began to genuinely believe my dream was attainable.
How would you describe this programme to a friend?
You owe this course to yourself. It is the best gift and the most life-changing experience I have had. It is enormously encouraging to be given the tools to cope with all aspects of your life and to believe that any dream is within reach.
Can you share a moment when the programme felt like it was really working?
I felt a connection to the programme right from the beginning. Each week resonated on a different level, giving me encouragement, direction, calmness and belief. The more I engaged with it, the more I could relate to it and apply it to my own situation.
What impact has the programme had on your life?
The course taught me there is a far more meaningful, calm and positive approach to living your best life. I came in knowing I needed guidance, support and a different way of thinking. I leave feeling more confident, with real tools to handle everyday situations differently and to approach any circumstance with the belief that my dreams are possible.
Thank you, Shermine, for the opportunity, the support and the mentorship. Purchasing my first home in the UK would not have been possible without you, and I will be forever grateful for this experience.
