I am often asked: “Who are you? ”

A transformative coach, a neuroreflexologist, what do you love most? And why be both?

I have been in the world of wellness for over 25 years, maybe even since childhood, as I have always cared about making people feel better.  I started exploring the world of wellness properly back in 1997, when I attended a talk by renowned Nutritionist Patrick Holford, who specialises in mental health and nutrition and has written over 45 books. Right there and then, I decided to become a nutrition consultant.

Three years later, I qualified as a nutritionist consultant. I loved every minute of the course, and of course, I applied it to myself and the people closest to me. Nutrition is a way of life; your well-being starts with what you ingest. It is very simple. You are what you eat, it is true.

A few years later, I discovered Foot reflexology, and 10 months later, after submitting 100 case studies, I became a fully qualified TCM Reflexologist.

I did not stop here,  the results I was getting were very encouraging, and I continued to explore this amazing therapy. In 2010, I discovered Facial and Neuro Reflexology, a method devised by Lone Sorensen that works on the Central Nervous System, promoting blood flow, lymphatic flow, energetic flow, and much more. It blew my mind. I am now a qualified Neuro Reflexologist working on the face, hands, ears, and feet. I keep taking individual courses in the Soresensistem because this amazing woman keeps researching, tweaking her courses, and creating new ones as she continues to learn. I am so grateful that I have been accredited to teach Lone Sorensen’s courses in the UK, along with Zeena Keast.

This brings me to why I added coaching to my career, and why I am so passionate about Transformative Coaching. Our well-being is often closely tied to how we feel, and our feelings are shaped by what we think. Our thoughts alone can affect our physiology. If we are scared or stressed, our bodies receive these signals and try to make sense of the situation. While we try to cope, several chemical imbalances occur. So, for change to take place, it is important to start calming our nervous system. It is by finding this internal homeostasis that healing of the body and mind can take place. In Transformational coaching, we learn tools to create the results we want in our lives, and one very important tool is noticing our thoughts and how they determine the results we have in all areas of our lives. It is an amazing process because it works if you apply the process of transformation. In Neuroreflexology, we look for the root cause of an issue. The first thing it does is calm the nervous system, reduce stress and unlock your body’s natural capacity for healing. It’s like hitting the reset button for your whole being. Real transformation sticks when you are supported on every level: body, mind, and spirit.

Often, clients reach a meditative state and, even with hesitancy, talk about levitating. This deep meditative state invites change on a deep level, without effort or push energy.  Transformational coaching then takes what you have deeply experienced and helps you add clarity to your vision, realise which beliefs no longer serve you, and replace them with new ones that empower you to take inspired action.

Coaching and teaching this work of neuro-reflexology is more than a career for me. It’s what I love and believe in wholeheartedly. I have witnessed clients step out of pain and into their purpose- sometimes after years of feeling stuck in their wellbeing, be it mental or physical. The realisation that you are not at the mercy of your old belief patterns is a BIG realisation. We never dismiss the facts that occur in our lives, but let’s find a way of unblocking what is in the way. There are always solutions to our problems; we just need a little corner of our mind to be open.

I hope I have answered the question I am often asked: why Transformational Coaching and Neuro Reflexology? There is definitely a strong link.

One last thing I would like to clarify is that neuro reflexology isn’t a prerequisite for transformational coaching to succeed. Each modality has its own amazing success rate.
